Gideons Youth Organisation is working on the following projects:

-REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CENTRE FOR THE YOUTH (10-24 YRS):

-COMMUNITY INCOME & LITERACY PROGRAM FOR THE YOUTH WHO ARE NOT IN SCHOOL

-CHILD SPONSORSHIP & NEEDY STUDENT'S PROGRAM

-CHILD RIGHTS ADVOCACY PROGRAM

SCHOOL-BASED HIV/AIDS & LIFESKILLS EDUCATION PROGRAM

We currently reach out to around 5000 youth in 13 different High Schools, addressing behavioral change practices through HIV/AIDS & STIs awareness, reproductive health education, lifeskills training, counseling, career guidance, sports skills and leadership development.

This program has created an increased demand to strengthen activities. Our goals include establishing clubs in schools so that we are better able to asess the impact our activities have on the students.  However, we are in need of support in terms of manpower and equipment and materials to run the daily,weekly and monthly schedules in these schools.
